There’s knowing how to do hair. And then there’s knowing hair.

She was a little girl in Grenada, already drawn to her grandmother’s hair. It was the first glimpse of what would become a lifelong calling.

More than forty years into her professional craft, Mrs. Marva is still listening, growing and watching hair come to life. She brings that depth of knowledge—and her unmistakable warmth—to every person in her chair.
